Youngstown is located at the junction of Highways 9 and 884 between Hanna (49 km to the west) and Oyen (53 km to the east). We’re a mature community, equipped to support our residents and businesses, helping people thrive while enjoying a balanced lifestyle. Our convenient location provides easy access to all major centres and transportation hubs across southern and central Alberta. There are also airports in Hanna and Oyen, and passenger and air freight facilities about 190 km southeast in Medicine Hat. Calgary and Red Deer are both about 2.5 hours away—easy drives for accessing the benefits of these urban centres.
Adventure awaits in Youngstown. Throughout the region, there are numerous trails to hike and our abundant wildlife attracts animal lovers as well as those who enjoy hunting and fishing. We’re also right next door to Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park, the Canadian Badlands, and Dinosaur Provincial Park, as well as the Royal Tyrell Museum, Horseshoe Canyon, and Blood Indian Park, where visitors of all ages can have unique experiences.
